This short course concentrates on Manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques that can be utilised for practitioners and carers to aid in the relief of lymphatic discomfort due to normal swelling from injury or more complicated physical conditions. This short course is for massage students, carers and massage practitioners who want to add another dimension to their professional scope of practice and assist their clients with the complexities of lymph-related conditions.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses techniques which stimulate the lymph vessels aiding the body in its natural processes. These techniques are deeply relaxing, aid in healing fractures, torn ligaments, sprains, help to strengthen the immune system and relieve fluid congestion including common complaints such as sinusitis and rheumatoid arthritis.

The short course is held over two days from 9am-4.30pm.
This course is accredited with the Australian Natural Therapists Association for 13 CPE points and the Australian Association of Massage Therapists for 10 CPE points.
Wear appropriate clothing for massaging in and appropriate under garments for participation in the practical component of the course.
